Panpipe from Peru – Zampoña

Panpipes (zampoña) is the ancestor of both the organ and the harmonica. The pipes of the pan flute are typically made from bamboo or, as presented here, with giant cane.

The pan flute is an ancient musical instrument. Based on the principle of the tube closure, usually consisting of five or more pipes. There are several models, including the length and circumference of the tubes vary. Here is presented the zampoña 13 tubes for beginners.
