To start your day in South America, nothing better than a Peruvian lunch. The specialty is of course the chicken cooked on embers, but also the pizzas. I highly recommend the chicken, with salad and french fries, not to mention the delicious green pepper sauce typical of Peru (named salsa de Huacatay) and an Inca Kola (yes , you read it! If you can not get there, there is a Peruvian gourmet restaurant in Montreal!\n\nMochica was the name of a pre-Columbian civilization. In Montreal, this is the name given to a restaurant recognized for the quality of its food served. First of all, when you enter, it is the beauty of the scenery that surprises us. The owners are of Montreal and Peruvian origin and, like us, are passionate about Peru &#8230; more precisely of its table.\n\nYou will have the opportunity to try dishes that are real masterpieces. It is the only place I know in Montreal where alpaca is served (but probably not the only one?). We discovered a lively latino bar, very authentic (I was almost the only one &#8220;none latino&#8221; from the bar) with a nice atmosphere. We went once to the Salvadoran restaurant El Toro in Longueuil where there is a warm and family atmosphere.
